THE LINEAR SLIDES

The linear slides series Linslide

four slides

The linear slides Linslide are components used as manual positioners in the automation industry, for different uses where a positioning of devices is requested, like for example:

    • - fine adjustment of soldering heads
    • - adjustment of inkjet printers
    • - adjustment of measurement cameras
    • - moving and adjusting sensors
    • - adjusting laser heads
    • - measuring optical fibers

Manual positioner

       EXAMPLE: Camera positioning
       with regulation on three axes

Features of the linear slides:
- Hard anodized aluminium slides
- Stainless steel guides
- Adjustment with knob
- High load values (see Chapter
Load of the linear slides)
- Good friction values
- High-quality slideways
- Fine adjustment 0.05 mm
- Standardised axis lengths
- Simple
Configuration and Ordering system

The slides are essentialy composed from three different elements:
The outer slide, the inner slide and the low-play drive

Fig.1

The outer slide (Fig.1) is the first element of a Linslide linear slide.
It is the carrier which moves when using the regulation of the knob. (see Chapter
Stroke).
On the carrier a mounting plate can be fixed to serve as base for Your application (see Chapter Accessories) and machined appropriately from You according to current necessities

The inner slide (Fig.2) is the base guide of the Linslide linear slide.
Two high quality guide shafts, made of steel V2A and surface-hardened, ensure to sustain high loads maintaining at the same time good favorable friction values.
The length difference between the inner and outer slides give the stroke of the slide (see Chapter Stroke ).

Fig.3
The low-play drive of Linslide (Fig.3) is realised by a precision screw, made of steel V2A, with preloaded plastic nut  installed in ball bearings in an end plate. This permits to move and position the outer slide exactly with an adjustment knob on the end of the screw and which has a scale of of 0.05 mm.

T
he pitches of the screw are:
Linslide 30  = 0.5 mm
Linslide 50  = 1 mm
Linslide 80  = 1 mm
Linslide 120 = 1 mm

This linear slide system will meet any individual requirement,
to build Your axis configuration for positioning on X-Y, X-Z, or X-Y-Z.

Our configurator will help you to choose all the necessary components for your kit
